Our Story
In 2020, amid the swirling uncertainty of Covid, my husband and I, much like countless others, found ourselves reshaping our home into our workspace. As we adapted, my husband's doodles on the window overlooking the iconic Empire State Building began to take on a life of their own - playful hand-drawn wonders, perfectly imperfect in their spontaneous charm, sparking a shift in my perspective.
Our products embody this newfound ethos. Each one, imperfect yet bursting with character, serves as a poignant reminder to cherish life's quirks and celebrate its imperfections. From stylish tote bags to charming mugs, every item exudes the essence of 'Kintsugi' – the art of finding beauty in flaws.
It took time for this passion to awaken within me, but now, fueled by our love for the vibrant spirit of NYC, I'm driven to share our journey and inspire others to embrace imperfection with open arms.
Why?
In a world dominated by AI and social media, where perfection is often glorified, we find ourselves relentlessly pursuing an idealized image of ourselves, overlooking the beauty in our imperfections. We forget to revel in the simple joys of life. Our product motto, 'Being proudly Imperfect,' celebrates embracing our authentic selves and finding joy in the journey, flaws and all. Our products are uniquely crafted to resonate on a deeper emotional level while also delivering practical usability. We understand that true fulfillment comes from more than just solving surface-level problems; it's about forging meaningful connections that enrich lives while remaining grounded in practical functionality.
